Plan and Estimate your Share of College Costs

This Financial Aid Calculator can help you determine what financial aid you would qualify for if you attend Arcadia University as a full-time, first-degree, undergraduate student. As such, it is intended for current high school juniors, seniors, or transfer students. Get an instant ESTIMATE of your Federal Expected Family Contribution as well as an ESTIMATE of merit and need-based aid you might be eligible for.
Keep in mind the following:
  • The calculator only provides an estimate of your Federal Expected Family Contribution (EFC), which is not necessarily what your out-of-pocket cost will be. The Arcadia Financial Aid Office is the final authority on your exact EFC. Arcadia uses the information from your official FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to calculate your EFC and prepare your official aid package.
  •  Please note, results of the on-line calculator are based on packaging and scholarship formulas in place for the fall 2009 and spring 2010 entering classes.  Those students entering fall 2010 and beyond, while welcome to utilize the tool, should note that awards could potentially increase as scholarship amounts and formulas change each year.
  • Because merit aid/scholarships are based on self-reported academic information, the calculator will only provide an estimate of your eligibility for scholarships. The Arcadia Scholarship Committee makes the official determination of scholarships after acceptance, weighing factors like school competitiveness, courseload, types of courses taken (Honors, AP, etc.), along with overall grades/cumulative GPA, standardized test scores (for freshmen), rank (if available), and overall involvement.
  • The EFC and estimated aid calculation provided are only as reliable as the data you enter. Information from your most recent federal tax return is best (preferably your 2008 federal tax return if it has been filed). If you have not filed for 2008 yet, use your best estimate. If you will not file a tax return for 2008, other information on sources of income for the 2008 calendar year will be required
  • This calculator does not apply to International Students.
  • Special circumstances (reduced income, etc.) are treated on a case by case basis. This information should be communicated directly to the Arcadia Financial Aid Office at the time you officially apply for financial aid.
Enter your income and asset data.
Here's what the financial aid calculator can do:
  • Estimate your general Federal Expected Family Contribution (EFC),
  • Project an inflation-adjusted EFC any number of years into the future,
  • Show instant financial-aid-What If answers (inheritance, bonus, moving, etc.),
  • Compute education loan payments for Stafford Loans, Parent PLUS Loans, Perkins, and Alternative Student Loans,
  • Print your own EFC Report for future reference (financial aid explanations included),
  • CAC provides easy-to-understand help messages next to every data entry field.
